OPPO takes the lead by launching its new flagship killer device. A device that can surely be believe is the Future of smartphones. By the looks of the device, I can say that the designers of the OPPO have done, pretty amazing job. However the main attraction in the OPPO Find X is the Pop-up camera feature. The Find X comes in two colour variants – Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. The phone is currently available on pre-order and the sale is expected to begin from August 3rd, 2018,the price is expected to be 60,000 rupees for the Indian variant.
In the race of Bezel-less and Full screen displays, the creators of OPPO Find X have taken it a step further by removing the Notch-structure from the front(display) and the bezel’s too. Making the screen 6.42 inch long with 19.5:9 of aspect ratio. The Find X uses a 3D glass to cover the Amoled display as well as the back of the device fused with the metal bezels. The screen-to-body ratio is about 93%, covering the maximum area for the user to interact (the full-screen experience) with the device. The screen has a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels making the images more sharper, brighter and vibrant. The screen is protected by the 5th generation of gorilla glass .
The Find X is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 8b of RAM and 128gb of storage for the Chinese version, for the Indian version, the variant comes with 8gb of RAM and 256gb of storage. The device uses an Octa-core (2.649 GHz) processor that runs applications like ‘hot knife through butter’ ( i.e Asphalt Airbourne and other heavy graphics games). The device has a 3730mAh battery. The device runs with the latest version of Android v8.1 (Oreo).
This is part were the main attraction of the device is Hidden. The designer have designed a Pop-up Mechanism for the camera to show up. When the user clicks on the camera icon the camera pop’s up and is ready to capture, it hides back in the framework after the user exits the camera and all it takes is a fraction of a second. The device comes with the dual rear camera setup. It has a 16-megapixel sensor with the 20-megapixel camera to capture the detailed photograph you expect it to be. It has a 25-megapixel AI-enhanced 3D front camera for the best face recognition or face unlock experience as the device doesn’t have any fingerprint scanner to unlock.
